Hello! As a Spanish teacher I wanted to share my culture with my students. I am from the South of Spain, Andalucía, but my hometown is Ronda, Malaga. So, in Andalucía we celebrate our day on February 28th, and in all the schools we do different activities to know more about Andalucía's culture.
You would see in the following pictures different activities that we were doing the week before the spring break.
We were knowing where Andalucía is, what the flag means, who created the flag and also the hymn. We listened the hymn trying to fill the missing words. We also color the map to know the different cities we can find there and the typical flamenco dress.
For the other hand, we made a puzzle with the 8 cities Andalucía has. Finally, we played a Kahoot with questions to consolidate the knowledge they had acquired about Andalucía where the children had a lot of fun creating their own avatar and competing between each other.
